Kat Stobbs – Elle Woods

Kat is thrilled to be joining Encore Theatre for their exciting production of Legally Blonde. She recently moved to the area from the Lake District and has immensely enjoyed being involved in a production once again, having been away from the stage for a number of years. Kat’s first musical theatre role was as a Royal Child in her local production of The King and I at the age of 9. Her roles in recent years include Maria Rainer in Mount Allison University’s production of The Sound of Music, Charity in Anything Goes and ensemble in productions of Les Misérables, Thoroughly Modern Millie and The Mikado. Kat hopes to be involved in more musical theatre productions in the Hillingdon area in the future. Aside from performing she enjoys travelling to distant shores, obsessing over the Great British Bake Off and singing loudly to every Elvis Presley song in existence.

Adrian Wilson – Emmett Forrest

Adrian studied Drama and Theatre Studies at Stratford-upon-Avon College and has been involved in local theatre since moving to Hillingdon in 2011. He is a regular performer with Hillingdon Musical Society, for whom he most recently played Jackson Pennington in The Hired Man. Other HMS appearances include Rooster in Annie, Davey in Newsies and Mingo in Crazy For You. He also appeared as TJ in Ruislip Operatic Society production of Sister Act last year and has performed for the Purple Theatre Company. Adrian is honoured to be making his debut with Encore and thrilled to be playing one of his dream roles. He thanks everyone at Encore for such a productive and fun experience, and he dedicates this performance to all his family and friends for supporting him as he pursues his passion.

Romana Moss – Paulette Buonufonté

Romana is delighted to be playing Paulette in Legally Blonde, in her first production with Encore Theatre Company. She has also performed with Mayhem Musical Theatre Company in shows including Much Ado about Nothing, in Annie with Impact Theatre Company, and played Patty Simcox in Kingston Vale Theatre Group’s production of Grease. She also makes regular appearances at Pinner Players, most recently as Rose in Love, Love, Love, Geraldine in What the Butler Saw, Pea in Jerusalem and not so recently as Eliza Doolittle in Pygmalion. It’s generally known that Emma will take on the role of any cast member that’s dropped out for the price of a bottle of wine (usually served up front and before the question is asked), which is how she ended up playing Lieutenant Gruber in ‘Allo ‘Allo. Emma trained as a dancer too long ago for it to be relevant anymore, but is still surprised when she can’t keep up with all these flexible young people. In the real world, Emma works at a PR agency promoting theatre, comedy and dance.

Enjoy the show!

Since University she has been lucky enough to perform professionally with various theatre companies, locally she played the role of Doris in The Hollow, performed twice at Camden Fringe Festival and has taken the lead role in the short films Off Duty and Small Town. Emma Jane’s other passion is travelling, after travelling around the USA and Central America last   year she is due to fly to Southeast Asia shortly after the show to start her next adventure.

Lucy has also performed as a featured singer and dancer in 7 Summer projects at the Beck Theatre including Flashdance, Beauty and the Beast and Grease. Previously Lucy has appeared on the Disney Channel, and she recorded a voice over for a new children’s TV show in the summer. Script-writing has always been a passion of Lucy’s and this year she wrote, co-directed and performed in her first pantomime! She has had such an enjoyable time rehearsing with the cast and can’t wait for the shows to begin. Lucy hopes you leave the theatre with a smile on your face and an urge to dance your way to the car park!

Emma La-Plain – Brooke Wyndham / Leilani

Emma first took to the stage at the age of 5 by proudly skipping across it as the youngest Snow Child in Carousel. She has just turned 15 and over the past 10 years not much has changed – she’s still skipping! Ben Lithgow Smith – Kyle / Dewey

Ben is from a musical family and was on stage throughout his childhood, occasionally for an audience. His theatrical debut in Grease has been described as the best Vince Fontaine that Epsom saw in the whole of May 2014. Other reviews included “his jacket was amazing” and “which one was he again?” He advocates method acting and in recent months has been seen wearing skimpy shorts and standing suggestively in doorways across London. He also shadowed a UPS driver for several weeks before receiving a cease and desist letter from his lawyers. He believes this has helped develop the many layers and nuances of his character. Off stage, Ben enjoys cycling, snowboarding and is a qualified skydiver. Unfortunately, this caused him to miss two months of rehearsals after surgery in November. He has since had immense fun working with a wonderful, talented group and looks forward to basking in their reflected glory. Meanwhile, he hopes you enjoy the show and that everyone watching has a “super day”! All Righty then!

His favourite role being that of a very camp Purser in HEOS’s Anything Goes. Ruman is looking forward to making his return to the camp-side playing Nikos in his first Encore production, although he’s not quite as excited about having to wax his chest for the role. However
he is willing to suffer for his art…Here’s hoping for an Olivier Award nomination… Off-stage, Ruman considers himself quite the cunning linguist, speaking ten languages (albeit with varying degrees of fluency).
